V&V is a corporate video production company combining excellent cinematographic, writing, editing, and related talents with the skills to grasp comprehensively the subject each client brings. Based outside NYC in Montclair, NJ with a satellite office in LA and working at global locations, V&V uses its state-of-the-art equipment to produce video web clips and promotional, marketing, investor relations, industrial, educational, fundraising and other videos for corporations and nonprofits of all sizes.


Curt is the eye behind the video camera, the artist behind the editing, and the director of Voices & Visions' productions. Curt has been working with Voices & Visions since the company was founded in 1997; he is also vice president of a nonprofit video production company called JEM/GLO that produces documentaries aired on public broadcasting stations nationwide. Prior to the formation of Voices & Visions and JEM/GLO, Curt served for 18 years as the chief photographer for NJN Public Television, New Jersey's public television and radio network.

Curt has produced and photographed numerous documentaries and specials for local, national and international audiences. His work has taken him all over the world, and he has received numerous journalism accolades, including an award from The Society of Professional Journalists, an Oscar in Agricultural Journalism, a Cine Gold Eagle, a New York Deadline Club award and several Associated Press Outstanding Documentary awards. He has also been nominated by NATAS in various Emmy categories including Individual Achievement in Photography and Outstanding Historical Documentary.

Ellen is the producer, scriptwriter and researcher for V&V productions. She is also president of the nonprofit video production company JEM/GLO for which Curt is the vice-president.

The former political correspondent for a weekly newspaper with a circulation of over 100,000, Ellen's extensive list of published articles have been reproduced around the world. A recipient of awards from press associations, Friedland worked as an attorney (including a clerkship to a federal judge in the Southern District of NY) prior to becoming a journalist.


Phillip is a highly motivated and result-focused business executive. He has an exceptional record of creating, producing, and managing sales strategies and sound sales plans.

Phillip has sold software for customer-focused analytic and marketing automation applications that analyze customer data from multiple touch points and use that information to execute marketing campaigns, improve online merchandising and content, increase site stickiness, and personalize all customer interactions. Created for rapid time to value and implemented in as few as 15 days, this software constituted the critical e-commerce infrastructure to more than 400 customers, including ADP, BEA Systems, Cisco Systems, Ebags, Corporate Express, Fidelity Investments, Hewlett Packard, InsWeb, Kodak, LoanCity.com, Mercata.com, Nortel Networks, Onvia.com, The Sharper Image, and United Airlines. Phillip is also a former Federal Agent and US Army Veteran.
